Things to consider include:
- Do you want to find a full time job?
- Do you want to stay in the same industry or branch out?
- Do you want to do a similar role in your next position?
- Do you want to try something new?
- Do you want to work in your passion areas?
STEP #2 - KNOW YOUR STORY
Knowledge inspires confidence and knowing your story helps you gather and put together your skills and experiences in preparation for your application process.
Things to consider include:
- Where are the opportunities?
- What are employers and recruiters asking for?
- What has changed or evolving in this space?
- How can you next position yourself to capitalize on this?
STEP #3 - NETWORK AND CONNECTIONS
It is estimated that 60-70% of jobs are not posted or advertised, so If you are job searching, be open to networking with your connections.
Things to consider include:
- Are there people I should introduce myself to?
- Am I actively maintaining relationships which can help me?
- Who might my networks and connections know?
